The Denver Chapter connects you to our more than 400 local members, comprised of contract managers and related professions. We provide regular educational and training events, making it easy for you to earn CPE/CLP credits. The Denver Chapter hosts in-person certification training courses for the Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), and Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM) Certifications. The Denver Chapter hosts regular social networking events at unique venues to help you connect with peers. And we offer leadership and volunteer opportunities for our members. The Denver Chapter, run by member-volunteers, is an exceptional resource for your professional and leadership development. We are proud to be a consistent winner of the NCMA"s Chapter Excellence Award, which recognizes the most outstanding chapters based on Chapter Leadership, Chapter Operations, Member Involvement, and Member Services. The Denver Chapter is the current Gold Medal recipient of the Chapter Excellence Award for mid-sized chapters.

Stacy Bowman - President

Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Stacy (aka Anastasia), has been in Colorado since 1997. Her background involves all aspects of contracting from project support, business development to contract and subcontract administration. Stacy holds an MBA from the University of Maryland (Global Campus). Over the 20 years Stacy has been in the industry, she has worked for companies supporting NASA, Department of Defense, Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security.  She currently works for United Launch Alliance (ULA) as a Supply Chain Compliance Specialist.  She has been actively involved as a member in the NCMA Denver chapter since 2018, she started as a board member in 2020 as Events Chair, Secretary, Vice President and Membership Chair.  She now serves as the President. Outside of work and NCMA, she is a mother to two “adult adjacent" kids and loves to explore all that Colorado has to offer from hiking, paddle boarding and whitewater rafting to snowshoeing.

Jennifer Elliott, CPCM - Secretary 

Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jen moved to Colorado in 2000 after attaining her B.S. from Northwestern University.  After 10 years of providing administrative support to business leaders, Jen was recruited into contract management where she discovered a role that, for her, perfectly blends working with words, numbers, applying business acumen, and building meaningful relationships.  During her 14 years in Contract Management, Jen has supported customers in the Department of Homeland Security, US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, Department of the Interior, and NASA.  She currently works as a Contract Manager at BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems, Inc. Jen has been a member of NCMA since 2011 and attained her CPCM in April of 2023.  Outside of work, she can be found playing “chauffeur” to her two young children as well as gardening, hiking, skiing, biking, and enjoying other outdoor activities across the front range.

Steve Phillips, CPA, MBA - Treasurer

Steve is an assurance and business advisory senior manager at Plante Moran, PLLC. He is primarily involved with various services to privately held government contractors, including financial statement audits, contract compliance single audits, indirect rate audits, and pre-award surveys. Steve focuses on helping government contractor clients navigate the responsibilities of federal, state, and local contract procurement and management. He holds a BA in Economics and Business from the Virginia Military Institute and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.

Edward J.A.  Moore CPCM - President-Emeritus

Edward J.A. Moore is a Colorado native and former college athlete.  Edward has as a B.A. in Communications from the University of Northern Colorado and an M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University.  As a seasoned veteran with over 30 years in the procurement world. Ed (as he is known to most) has a blended history of commercial and government experience.  His procurement travels have taken him from working in the brewing industry, major construction, and the tech world, to his current role as a Contracting Office and Team Lead for the United States Postal Service Employee Services Contracting Office in Aurora, CO.  During his government tenure he has received three Vice President of Supply Management Awards for his contracting work.  Ed started out with NCMA Denver in 2018 as the Memberships Services Chair before moving to the Website Chair and finally being elected as Chapter President.

Peter Ford

Peter Ford is a partner with PilieroMazza and manages the firm"s Colorado office. Mr. Ford has become one of the firm"s most experienced attorneys for SDVOSB-related matters for both the VA and SBA. His practice also encompasses the representation of Tribes and Alaska Native Corporations, including their government contracting subsidiaries. He has assisted tribal entities with establishing the proper infrastructure to become robust government contractors including, establishing tribal holding companies to own Section 8(a), HUBZone and other small businesses doing business with the federal government. He also provides general corporate and business assistance, with a focus on company start-up and corporate restructuring matters, and purchase and sale transactions.

Matt Danner

Matt Danner is a Senior Manager, Government Contractor Solutions at Grant Thornton LLP.  Matt has over 12 years of experience in identifying, quantifying, and managing risks for government contractors, including expertise in business system compliance, government cost accounting, cost restructuring, and M&A due diligence. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Matt served as Senior Manager for the government contractor advisory services practice of Baker Tilly.  He's held positions serving government contracting clients at an international consulting and accounting firm, as well as internal government compliance positions at top A&D and A&E firms.

Zach Taylor 

Zach is the Procurement Operations & Supply Chain Innovation Manager at Deloitte and has a deep passion for out-of-the-box solutioning. He brings experience from Lockheed Martin"s Global Supply Chain Management team which supported the U.S. Special Operations Command"s largest service contract vehicle. At Deloitte, Zach previously served as a Lead Subcontracts Administrator and continues to serve on many exciting firm initiatives including Coupa Implementation, CPSR Readiness, and establishing a Procurement Project Management Office. Outside of work, Zach spends his time hiking with dog (Tucker) and endless training for Ironman Arizona November 2021.
