NCMA Denver Chapter

Who We Are

The Denver Chapter connects you to our more than 400 local members, comprised of contract managers and related professions. We provide regular educational and training events, making it easy for you to earn CPE/CLP credits. The Denver Chapter hosts in-person certification training courses for the Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), and Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM) Certifications. The Denver Chapter hosts regular social networking events at unique venues to help you connect with peers. And we offer leadership and volunteer opportunities for our members. The Denver Chapter, run by member-volunteers, is an exceptional resource for your professional and leadership development. We are proud to be a consistent winner of the NCMA’s Chapter Excellence Award, which recognizes the most outstanding chapters based on Chapter Leadership, Chapter Operations, Member Involvement, and Member Services. The Denver Chapter is the current Gold Medal recipient of the Chapter Excellence Award for mid-sized chapters.

The Denver Chapter Board of Directors is comprised of member volunteers, professionals in contract management and related fields, dedicated to serving our Chapter members’ professional development needs. Ben Olson - President

Ben has been living in the Denver area for 7 years but is a Virginia native, where he attended George Mason University for both his Bachelors and Masters degrees. He has worked in the Contract Management industry for over 9 years and currently works for General Dynamics Information Technology. Volunteering on the Denver NCMA chapter board since 2017, he has served as the president-elect and leadership co-chair. He is also a graduate of the NCMA Contract Management Leadership Development Program (CMLDP).

Andrea Mueller - President Elect

Experienced Senior Contract Manager with a demonstrated history of working in financing with the federal government, hospital & health care, finance, and technology industries. Skilled in RFP drafting, reviewing, and negotiating; Risk Management, and Software as a Service (SaaS). Strong operations professional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Political Science from Iowa State University.

Nate is a Partner at Plante Moran specializing in government contracting. Ashley Parker - President Emeritus

Ashley Parker is a Contracts Specialist at AGEISS Inc. Prior to this role, Ashley worked at HDR, Inc. Ashley holds an MBA from Regis University and has been on the Board of Directors for the NCMA Denver Chapter since 2014. Ashley is also a graduate of the 2014-2015 NCMA CMLDP and in 2018 she received the NMCA Advancing Professionals Award. When she is not working or volunteering, you can find her outdoors or at a brewery!

Jami Dinsmore - President Emeritus

Jami T. Dinsmore, CPCM, is a Contract Manager with Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. Prior to this role Jami supported Environmental Systems Research Institute, Lockheed Martin Space, and Lockheed Martin IS&GS. Jami holds an MBA from the University of Denver, is a past graduate of the NCMA CMLDP, recipient of the NCMA Advancing Professionals Award, and CMLDP alumni committee member. Jami is currently serving as the NCMA Denver Chapter President-Emeritus.

Julie Linton - Secretary

Julie is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) currently working for Arrowhead Solutions, LLC as an Executive Consultant. Julie served as a Contingency Contacting Officer in Kuwait before jumping to the industry side and working as a Contracts Manager for several years prior to becoming a Consultant.

Peter Ford - Outreach Chair (Industry)

Peter Ford is a partner with PilieroMazza and manages the firm’s Colorado office. Mr. Ford has become one of the firm’s most experienced attorneys for SDVOSB-related matters for both the VA and SBA. His practice also encompasses the representation of Tribes and Alaska Native Corporations, including their government contracting subsidiaries. He has assisted tribal entities with establishing the proper infrastructure to become robust government contractors including, establishing tribal holding companies to own Section 8(a), HUBZone and other small businesses doing business with the federal government. He also provides general corporate and business assistance, with a focus on company start-up and corporate restructuring matters, and purchase and sale transactions.

Ed Moore - Website Chair

Edward J.A. Moore is a 24 -year procurement veteran, spending the last 18 years in a Senior Contracting Officer role. Edward started his career on the commercial side of things with Coors Brewing Company in their Marketing Purchasing Department, then moving on to National Contracts for Mortenson Construction, and finally spending the last 8 years in government contracting with the United States Postal Service. He currently serves as the Medical & Injury Compensations Services Category Management Team Contracts Manager. Mr. Moore has been a Certified Professional Contracts Manager since 2013 and currently holds the position of Website Chairperson for NCMA Denver.

Rachelle Jackson

Bio: Rachelle works for Baker Tilly as a Government Contracts Consultant. She has been with the firm since August 2012, helping clients navigate the murky waters of contract compliance with regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), OMB Circular and 2 CFR 200 Cost Principles. Throughout her career, she has specialized in compliance matters related to The Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS, formerly SCA) as well as assisting clients by providing strategic proposal pricing and RFP support. Prior to entering the working-world, Rachelle attended James Madison University, located in Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance.
